Medlab Asia & Asia Health have gone virtual - with complimentary attendee passes to SSP members! The 'virtual expo' will take place from 20-22 October 2020. Medlab Asia on its 8th edition will focus on the core units of every lab such as immunology, clinical chemistry, microbiology, haematology, molecular diagnostics and laboratory management. While Asia Health in its 4th edition will focus on imaging, sterilization clinical tracks targeted for clinicians and technologists and technicians. SGH HaematoLymphoid Pathology Workshop 2019
We are pleased to have Dr Ayoma Attygalle as our invited expert pathologist this year for our 2nd haematolymphoid pathology workshop! This one-day workshop will allow participants to be exposed to a variety of haematolymphoid pathology cases related to this year’s theme. Participants will enjoy the cases through light microscopy and digital microscopy, as well as lectures on approaches to and current topics related to nodal T-cell lymphomas. 10th Anniversary SGH Breast Pathology Course (8-10th Nov 2019)
We are delighted to announce the 10th Anniversary SGH Breast Pathology Course (8-10 November 2019) which will be held in conjunction with a Nodal T-cell Haematolymphoid Workshop (11 November 2019). Our 2 1/2-day breast pathology fiesta promises an exciting array of breast pathology cases which can be enjoyed through conventional light microscopy as well as via digital microscopy. Lectures incorporate common and recurrent diagnostic challenges in breast pathology practice. This year, we are honoured to have the Nottingham breast pathology faculty (Prof Ian Ellis and Prof Emad Rakha) joining us. This year's topics will highlight changes to classification approaches that are adopted by the 5th series of the WHO Classification of Tumours of the Breast, as well as focus on latest updates in commonly encountered breast conditions. Rare entities and how to diagnose them, use of adjunctive tools of immunohistochemistry and molecuar pathology, will be included.
